Common problems
Why manufacturing software
rarely works as promised.
From auditing factory systems, most plants hit the same wall — the systems were built for the conference room, not the shop floor.
The Excel Factory
Production is planned in spreadsheets that nobody trusts by Wednesday. Work orders are printed, amended by hand, and reconciled weeks later. Nobody has a single source of truth, and the numbers on the boardroom slide were never the numbers on the floor. The fix is not a bigger spreadsheet — it is one system the whole plant uses.
The Integration Wall
The ERP says one thing, the MES says another, and the shop floor says something else entirely. Data is re-entered three times a day. Stock discrepancies become the norm. Nobody can trace a batch from raw material to finished goods because the systems have never actually talked to each other. Retrofitting integrations later costs 3× more than getting the data model right from the start.
The Downtime Blind Spot
Machines stop, nobody knows why, and every stoppage is recorded as 'operator break' or 'awaiting material' because there is no better option. Maintenance happens when equipment fails, not before. Predictive maintenance is talked about but never implemented. By the time the problem is visible on the monthly report, it has already cost six figures in lost production.
Systems we build
Eight systems that run
a modern factory.
Whether you need a single shop floor tool or an integrated operations platform, we cover the full stack of manufacturing software.
Enterprise Resource Planning
Unify finance, production, procurement, and inventory into one platform. Reduce duplication and get a single view of the business.
Manufacturing Execution Systems
Real-time visibility into shop floor activity. Track work orders, monitor machines, and bridge the gap between planning and execution.
Sales & Customer Management
Order intake, customer records, and dispatch tracking in one interface. Connects directly to production and delivery systems.
Environmental Health & Safety
Incident logging, risk monitoring, and safety protocol enforcement. Ensure a safe workplace while staying audit-ready.
Product Lifecycle Management
Manage a product from design through to end-of-life. Version control, approvals, and change tracking across every team.
Computer-Aided Manufacturing
Automate production control with software that talks directly to machines. Reduce manual errors and improve precision.
Enterprise Asset Management
Track equipment health, schedule maintenance, and manage the full lifecycle of every physical asset.
Supply Chain Planning
Forecast demand, coordinate suppliers, and manage logistics from a single platform. Reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
Platform layers
Three layers every
manufacturing platform needs.
Operators on the floor, managers in the office, and models in the background. Miss one and the platform only half works — so we ship all three by default.

Our process
From factory floor
to production software.
Every manufacturing software development project follows a structured process built around your production environment. No guesswork between stages.
Discovery & operations mapping
We study your production workflows, equipment stack, and existing systems to define exactly what the software needs to solve.
Architecture & UX design
System architecture, data flows, and user interfaces designed around how your floor operators and managers actually work.
Development & integration
Engineers build the solution against your approved stack and integrate it with your ERP, MES, IoT devices, and third-party tools.
Testing & validation
Functional, load, and integration testing against real production scenarios — so the system holds up where it matters most.
Deployment & ongoing support
Deploy to your environment, train your teams, and provide continuous support for scaling, updates, and performance.
Technology
Modern tools, proven in production.
The stack we reach for on factory systems. Fast, typed, containerised, and easy to hire for when your team grows.
Why Innov8ProTech
Why manufacturers
choose to work with us.
Manufacturing software is harder than most. Equipment, shifts, networks, and regulations all collide. Here is why operations teams work with Innov8ProTech.
Manufacturing-native engineering
We have built systems for factories, not generic enterprise apps with a manufacturing theme. Real shop floor constraints, real integrations.
Real-time by default
Live production data, not 4-hour-old snapshots. Dashboards update the moment something changes on the line.
Offline-tolerant
Critical for shop floors where networks drop. Systems keep recording locally and sync when connectivity returns.
Integrations that matter
ERP, MES, PLCs, SCADA, and legacy equipment. We bridge old and new without replacing what already works.
Compliance from sprint one
ISO, GMP, OSHA, and industry-specific standards designed in from the first commit — not bolted on before the audit.
Long-term operations support
Factory systems run for years. We stay with them through equipment changes, line expansions, and shift reorganisations.
Selected work
Manufacturing systems in production.
Multi-line OEE dashboard
Real-time OEE across eight production lines. Downtime alerts within 30 seconds of stoppage. Live in ten weeks.
Outcome
8 lines live
Digital inspection workflow
Replaced paper QC sheets with tablet-based inspections. Defect tracking, photo evidence, and CAPA workflows built in.
Outcome
Zero paper QC
Predictive maintenance system
Vibration and temperature sensors feeding ML models. Alerts fire 48 hours before failures so maintenance can be planned.
Outcome
48hr advance warning
Client feedback
What our clients
actually say.
“The move to SikaNet CBS was a bigger shift than I expected — but the right one. Before, our Susu collectors were on paper and every BOG report took us days to assemble. Now collections appear in the office before a collector even finishes their route, and the reports are just there. The team understood our business from day one.”
David Awuni
Founder, Adwumapa Microfinance
“We were cautious about moving patient records online. The on-prem approach changed that — everything stays inside the health center, nothing goes to a foreign cloud. Our clinicians now retrieve a file in seconds instead of ten minutes, and every entry has an audit trail behind it.”
Medical Director
Sekyedumase Health Center
“The patient management system they developed has streamlined our ophthalmology department. Appointment scheduling, patient records, and referral tracking are now seamless — saving us hours of administrative work every day.”

Ophthalmologist, Ghana Health Service
